Matt Gates CRES
Matt was born and raised on the west side of Cincinnati where he attended Elder High School. Upon graduating from the Gatton School of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky in 1998, Matt began his career in the financial services industry at Fidelity Investments. There he assisted clients with brokerage trading and service. Matt quickly developed a desire to build more meaningful and lasting relationship with clients. To that end, he joined the Equitable Advisors Retirement Benefits Group as a Financial Advisor to serve the financial needs of educators and their families.
In 2004, Matt partnered with fellow Financial Advisor Rob von Gerds to build a wealth management practice. They worked to create lasting and impactful relationships with their clients on their journey to financial success. In 2020, Matt partnered with other Cincinnati financial professionals to help build Triple crown Wealth Management, LLC. Together, the group works to bring personalized planning to their clients throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.
Matt lives in Green Township, a western suburb of Cincinnati. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, who keep them busy and entertained. Matt is also an avid University of Kentucky fan (Go Cats!), enjoys cooking and discovering new restaurants. He prides himself on being a bourbon and craft beer enthusiast.
